They play both original and cover sets which I think is a unique approach to keeping your borders open musically speaking. They have the ability to play just about anywhere in most bars and venues. This was a hilarious time they are super funny. We talk about how they came to be. The ups and downs over the years and what they are currently up to. Recently he moved to Az to make some big life changes. He set his sights on being a recording engineer. We talk about everything from the reasons that led him to moving, the life he has now, the goals he has set in place, to getting into working on the stage in his new home town. On this Episode I got to sit down in a kitchen in little rock Arkansas and get the whole story from Goon des Garcons. Who recently signed with Def Jam records and Tan the Terrible. These two took the journey out to L.A. to make the ultimate effort. To give up everything and go for the gold. Needless to say it paid off. Here you can get the whole story from starting in little rock and pine bluff. Putting on shows and playing shows. Trying to build their own path. Keeping everything DIY. TO when they decided to make the leap out to California and how long it took and the sacrifice it took to make it to where they are now. Goon has just released his new ep under Def Jam "Cheers to the end of the World" If you haven't yet I strongly urge you to go check that out.
